Sidewalk Activity Creates Dynamic Wiscasset Art Walk, Aug. 31, 2017
WISCASSET, MAINE – Ingram Art & Antiques co-owner Kirsten Ingram thought the Wiscasset Art Walk needed some sizzle, so she’s invited a local jazz trio to provide the evening’s brassy sounds. There’s plenty of outdoor art to view in the new courtyard gallery just off Main St., and take a look at the temporary sculpture, HESPER, on the Recreational pier. Boston’s Luminarium Dance Co. will make its annual WAW appearance with improvisational dance throughout the Village. And, to make the meandering experience complete, the O’Oysters cart from Portland will be shucking on Middle St. along with tacos-to-go from El Rodeo Go – between Treats and Golden Wok – during the Wiscasset Art Walk on Thursday, August 31, 5-8pm.
