What happens when a Midcoast harp ensemble inhabits a beautiful garden space? Experience the magic when the students of harpist Suki (Virginia) Flanagan play together in the Middle St. courtyard behind In the Clover during the Wiscasset Art Walk on Thursday, Sept. 27, 5-8pm. “It’s a visual instrument,” says Flanagan, “with the raised hands and the plucking, and visitors will be seeing harpists having fun!”

Color, color everywhere – and all of it meant to be drunk deeply. Guest artists in pop-up galleries and sidewalk displays by local community initiatives add even more variety to the Village collection of galleries, antique venues, and shops. Raising Awareness of Domestic Violence Through Art
WISCASSET, MAINE– A display of art made by women who are working to overcome the effects of domestic violence will be on exhibit at the Wiscasset Art Walk on Thursday, August 30, from 5 to 8pm. Believing that art can be a catalyst for healing and change, New Hope for Women, the regional domestic violence resource center, offers a Healing Through Art support group for women who have experienced violence, abuse, and intimidation.

POP-UP Gallery Features ‘Pigments of My Imagination’
WISCASSET, MAINE– Artist Donna Barnako has been deeply involved with knitting design and artisan jewelry construction for 25 years but developed her passion for abstract painting only four years ago. Her paintings are inspired by color and joy, and her palate incorporates humor, energy, warmth, and memories of family and travel. An exhibition of Barnako’s recent work, Pigments of My Imagination, will be on exhibit at the POP-UP Gallery, 64 Main St., Wiscasset Village, during the Wiscasset Art Walk on Thursday, August 30, 5-8pm.
Leonard Meiselman Exhibit at Wiscasset Art Walk on August 30
Wiscasset artist Leonard Meiselman will exhibit a selection of recent abstract oil paintings during the Wiscasset Art Walk on August 30, from 5pm to 8pm at 65 Main Street in Wiscasset Village. The collection of large paintings, titled Black and White, explore the shades and nuances of love, loss, and wonder. The artist will be present in the gallery and will talk about his work at 6:30pm.
